Ann Arbor Family Photographer | A Mother’s Day Gift

Each year leading up to mother’s day, a lot of sweet husbands reach out to schedule and gift their wives a family or mommy and me portrait session. These are some of my favorite sessions to capture. Of course, I am bit bias because I think photography sessions always make for the perfect gift.

What I loved about this family is that they wanted a nice family portrait, but also wanted to capture mom’s love and connection with her babies while they are still little. I love to capture photographs with smiles and eye contact, but I also love it when my client’s turn their attention to each other and let me document their interaction. I realize “forgetting about the camera” can be challenging, but I am so glad my clients trust me to help set the scene, direct the moment, and then stand back and let them enjoy each other while I press pause for them. And my work doesn’t stop there, I am also passionate about getting those photos off the hard drive and up on your walls to enjoy everyday.
