Maternity Session at the Peony Gardens | Ann Arbor Maternity Photos

When I tell people that I used to be a high school teacher, their eyes widen and most people say “Oh teenagers. That must have been hard.” Grading essays every weekend was hard, but the teen part was actually pretty cool. I got to meet some really neat kids, including this sweet couple when they were both teens.

While they did not date in high school, were not in my classes at the same time, and graduated different years, I was not at all surprised they found each other. Both of them were exceptional teens and are now incredible adults who will be exceptional parents. It was such an honor when this sweet momma-to-be found me online and hired me to take their maternity photos. I loved catching up with them and couldn’t be happier for their future together as they welcome their little one.
