What to Wear: Spring Family Session | Ann Arbor Family Photographer

It’s spring time in Michigan! As an on-location Ann Arbor photographer this means it is time to get outside and enjoy the sunshine, blue skies, and blooms. I would love to capture your family in one of our beautiful parks or against an architectural backdrop that our thriving downtown offers.

Once we decide on a location for your session, it is time to plan the wardrobe. I am excited to share some of my favorite color combinations and 2017 spring fashion. Typically, when one thinks of spring pastel colors come to mind. This first set of family fashion is a nod to traditional spring tones without being overly matchy.

The next two sets go a little bolder with color. I love navy, fuchsia, grass green, and a sunny yellow just as much as pastels for a spring family session. It might not be until late May before all of the leaves are back on the trees, so your color choice in clothing will be a great way to represent the time of year.

When planning your family’s wardrobe for your photo shoot, remember you do not have to go “matchy matchy”. BUT it is important to choose colors with a similar tone as shown above with the all pastel set or all bold colors.  For my inspiration check out my Spring What to Wear pinterest board.
