I love it when I leave a newborn session and feel like I have the best job in the world: not only do I get to snuggle newborns, but I get to meet some very kind and interesting people. This little lady has some pretty awesome parents and I was honored to capture their first family photographs.
At only 10 days new, this sweet baby girl slept for most of her session. We started by taking some photos of her in her crib, then mom shared a beautiful quilt that was a gift from baby girl’s grandmother. My mother is a quilter as well, and I know how special it is to have those heirlooms. We got lots of adorable images of her nestled up on the quilted hearts. I am sharing one below.
Toward the end of her session, she was wide awake, and I was able to get a few photographs of her beautiful eyes.
