A Trip to the Scrap Box {Ann Arbor Children’s Photographer}
We are always looking for fun indoor activities to do with the kids, and when our friends invited us to the Scrap Box in Ann Arbor, we couldn’t wait to check it out. The kids had a lot of fun creating projects at the free station. The store is filled with various objects including buttons, puzzle pieces, rip stop nylon fabric, cardboard tubes, old magazines and cards, sponges, basically materials that can be upcycled into your creation. Several local companies donate their scraps and the creative minds in Ann Arbor turn them into art.
After working at the table for the free project, we grabbed a large bag and headed to the back of the warehouse. There are various size bags to select from with a flat price for filling them with materials. The kiddos had a great time filling their bags and then continued to create new items at home.
Here is a peak at our little day trip.
