Birthday Flowers {Ann Arbor, Mi Photographer}

My birthday was this past week, and my friends and family know me well. They surprised me with cheerful bouquets of sunflowers and gerber daisies. The flowers have been so beautiful to look at on my dining room table; and when I noticed the petals were starting to look a little less vibrant, I decided to give them a little photo shoot of their own. Next to photographing children, I really enjoy macro photography. I like to focus on the colors, and textures, and shapes. I am also a sucker for the compression/blurred background that the lens creates.
